Set against the pulsating background of early 2000’s Sapporo, Filipina transgender dancer Marie becomes entangled with the dangerous underbelly of the criminal world after an immigration raid leaves her vulnerable and desperate.

Whilst in hiding, Marie takes a job at the Chameleon Club where she works hard to get in favor of Yakuza boss, Shimamura. Here, Marie finds herself immersed in a volatile world of deceit, greed, and betrayal, realizing she must find a way to escape even though the promise of freedom may be fleeting.
