Melati runs an inn for lost and weary travellers who seek its sanctuary for the night. Little do they know, the inn is cursed and they will die by the morning. Within its walls, Melati has learned to harness the dark curse by feeding it the remains of the dead travellers. In return, the curse gives her eternal life and special powers to bring back the dead.
